Donations of Coats, Blankets, and Linens, December 2009
Our Lawrenceville office collected coats for Baby it is Cold Outside, and blankets and linens for Homefront.  These charities  distributed the donated items to families in the Lawrenceville area.

Yardley 5k, June 7, 2009
The practice was one of the sponsors of this first time event.  Proceeds from the 5k benefitted The Friends of the Delaware Canal. Over 200 runners participated and when they crossed the finish line, our staff was there to ensure a quick recovery time, providing stretching and massage therapy.

Workshop, Yardley Office, May, 2009
Dr. Berkowitz and Dr. Lentine demonstrated the Graston Technique and Kinesio Taping. CHCC and LCPT is the only chiropractic office in the area to offer these cutting edge services.

Kinesio Taping has taken the rehabilitation and sports medicine world by storm.  You've probably seen the tape on many Olympic and professional athletes and wondered what it is.  Kinesio taping involves taping over and around muscles in order to assist and provide support or to prevent over-contraction.

Graston Technique is used to detect-treat-resovle connective soft tissue dysfunctions and is used by nearly 5,000 clinicians, including athletic trainers, chiropractors and therapists.  The Graston Technique uses a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively detect and treat scar tissue and the restrictions that affect normal function.

The workshop was well attended, there was no charge for the session and it was open to patients and the community.

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton Foundation, ongoing
The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that raises funds to support patient care initiatives and capital projects for RWJ Hamilton and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Hamilton.  Dr. Jeff Clancey is a member of the Foundation's Young Professionals Group which organizes and hosts events that encourage community participation and support.

Anchor House Ride for Runaways, ongoing
Anchor House, located in Trenton, NJ, provides a haven for abused and troubled children. Each year in July, they hold a grueling 500 mile bike trip to raise money for the facility. CHCC and LCPT contribute on a yearly basis and also helps sponsor employees and their family members who ride in the event.

Womanspace, Inc., December 2009
Complete Health and Chiropractic Center and Lawrenceville Chiropractic and Physical Therapy are donors to this not for profit agency.  Womspace provides a comprehensive array of services to women and their children who have been impacted by domestic and/or sexual violence.
